How to apply to Canadian Dental Care Plan
You must meet the basic eligibility criteria and submit your application online through Service Canada or by phone.
Do you accept new patients?
Of course we do! We're always happy to welcome new members to the Centre dentaire Taschereau family. We'll take the time at your first appointment to get to know you. Through a thorough dental examination and discussion of your oral and general health, we'll get a clear picture of your situation. From there, we can establish a follow-up and treatment plan tailored to your needs!
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, as a way of making our dental care more accessible. We offer tailored options to enable you to spread your costs over a longer period. If you need to, ask our reception staff about the options available to you!
Do you take out insurance?
Our services are covered by several insurance policies. We can send your claim and supporting documents electronically to your insurer.
Can I transfer my file from my old dental clinic?
Although it's not always necessary, it is possible to transfer your past dental records to us. Please note that the documents legally belong to your former clinic, but the dentist who owns them is obliged to provide you with a copy at your request. However, he or she is entitled to charge you a reproduction fee, if applicable.

Do I need a referral to see the denturist?
No, this is not required. To meet the denturist, simply request an appointment for a free consultation with the denturist.

Do you offer same-day dental emergency appointments in Brossard?
Yes. We keep dental emergency slots reserved each business day (acute pain, broken tooth, abscess, dislodged restoration or denture). Call us at 450-912-1688 at 8 a.m. when we open to secure a same-day appointment, subject to availability.
Do you accept RAMQ (Quebec health insurance)?
Yes. We accept RAMQ for eligible patients: children under 10 for covered procedures, and last-resort financial-assistance recipients per the current schedule. Call us to confirm your eligibility before your appointment.
Is parking available at the clinic?
Yes — free on-site parking at 8245 boulevard Taschereau, suite A-14, Brossard. Direct access from boulevard Taschereau, next to the Place Portobello shopping centre.
Do you offer services in English and French?
Yes — our clinical and reception team is fully bilingual and serves patients in both English and French.
