Centre dentaire Taschereau: Your CDCP Dentist in Brossard

At Centre dentaire Taschereau, your dental clinic in Brossard on the South Shore of Montreal, we participate in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), the federal public dental insurance program in effect since May 2024. If your adjusted family net income is under $90,000 and you have no private dental coverage, you can benefit from the CDCP to significantly reduce your dental care costs. Our clinic, open six days a week, warmly welcomes CDCP members from Brossard, La Prairie, Longueuil, and throughout the South Shore.
As a CDCP participating clinic, we submit your reimbursement request directly to Sun Life at the time of treatment, you pay nothing upfront and have no claims to file yourself. You only pay the portion not covered according to your income tier. This is our concrete commitment to making dental care accessible for the whole family.

About the Canadian Dental Care Plan
The Canadian Dental Care Plan is now fully accessible to all eligible Canadians. Since January 2025, Canadians aged 18 to 64 with no private dental coverage can enrol. The CDCP covers a wide range of essential oral health services:
- Prevention: dental exams, cleaning, fluoride, sealants
- Diagnostics: dental X-rays
- Restorations: fillings
- Endodontics: root canal treatments
- Periodontics: deep scaling, gum care
- Denturology: complete and partial dentures
- Oral surgery: extractions
Some complex treatments require CDCP pre-authorization before being performed. Our team will guide you through this process.
To benefit from the CDCP, you must first submit an application online at Canada.ca or by phone at 1-833-537-4342 (Service Canada). Once approved, you will receive a CDCP insurance card. When you visit our clinic, simply present your card, we handle the billing directly with Sun Life, the insurer mandated by the federal government. The response is instant: you only pay the remaining balance (co-payment) based on your annual family income.
