Our dental care uses state-of-the-art technology

Nos technologies
To ensure both the effectiveness and safety of our care and to increase comfort for everyone, we have equipped our clinic with several dental technologies.
Nos technologies
Caméra intraorale

Intraoral camera

This small, easy-to-handle device takes images of the inside of the mouth, which are transmitted directly to a screen. These images can then be zoomed or enlarged to make certain areas of the oral cavity more visible. The dentist uses the images produced by the intraoral camera for diagnostic purposes, as they enable him or her to better visualize oral structures. This technology also helps him to communicate his observations and explain to patients the problems identified and the proposed solutions.

3D Scan

This device, also known as CT Scan, performs a few seconds' rotation around the head, during which a series of 3D images are taken. It provides a clear, detailed view of the various structures of the mouth and face: bones, joints, blood vessels, tissues and so on. These 3D photos can be viewed as they are, or processed by various software programs. They are thus used to refine diagnoses, but above all to plan various surgical procedures (implant placement, dental extractions), to model Invisalign aligners and to design fixed prostheses (crowns and bridges).

Radiographies panoramiques

Panoramic radiography

These digital X-rays show at a glance the various structures of the jawbone: upper and lower teeth and their roots, alveolar bone, sinuses, temporomandibular joints and certain nerves. This helps the dentist to observe all oral tissues and structures, even those otherwise invisible. This enables him or her to refine diagnoses or identify problems that would otherwise go unnoticed. What's more, images are projected directly onto a luminous screen, without the need to develop film as is the case with traditional X-rays. It also emits far less radiation, enhancing the safety of this often essential procedure.

On-site laboratory

We have our own dental laboratory! Our denturist can create fixed, removable and implant-supported prostheses. We can also fabricate veneers and inlays (ceramic restorations used as an alternative to fillings when the tooth is more damaged or fragile), among other things. Access to a laboratory also enables us to make adjustments or repairs to prostheses or restorations quickly and without intermediaries. This is another way in which we can personalize our care: thanks to our laboratory, we have full control over every stage of the dental rehabilitation process.

Contrôle de la stérilisation

Sterilization control

To help us control the sterilization process and ensure that our dental equipment is fully aseptic, we use traceability software. This enables us to scan each instrument used during a given procedure and then add the relevant information (sterilization cycles, asepsis tests) to the patient's file. With this procedure, we exceed the current sterilization standards of the Ordre des dentistes du Québec, and reduce potential hygiene problems and contamination risks to almost zero.
